Tue Oct 28, 2008, 4:45 PM
Because I is a perv and spend all my time at yaoi gallery! I don't want to mix my yaoi with my general stuff so I don't really post much of what I do over there here. So if you're curious as to what I've been up to, come check out my gallery here. Hope to see ya there!

Take part in a digimon doujinshi!

Wed Jan 31, 2007, 10:26 AM
So is putting together two Digimon Adventure doujinshi to sell at this years winter ComiKet in Japan (yeah, you know what comiket is, only the most huge comic book festival in the world). She's going to make a JouXMimi book and a book featuring all the characters. So if you're a huge digimon fan (like myself) and you're looking for a little bit of exposure than head on over to her page and check out the details (be sure to read her journals back entries).

Here are just a few details about the all character book:

*All entries must not exceed a PG13 rating.
*No MimiKou (Oh noes! I wuv this pairing XD)
*No SoraYama (She says this doesn't sell well in Japan. Hmmm, I wonder if this could have anything to do with the huge Taichi/Yamato fanbase...)
*BL is okay just as long as it's not romantic in nature (yay, because I intend on doing a gag bl)

Also, she request that for now people stray away from writing Miyako/Ken-centric stories because quite a few people have already offered to do so.

If you decide to take part in this en devour you will receive 5 copies of whichever doujin you participate in. So what are you waiting for?! Hurry over to Mippa's to check out the rest of the details!

A waste of money?

For some reason whenever I have a bit of extra cash I head over to jpqueen and snag me a Naruto anthology. I don't know why I do it. Buying anthologies are a gamble because you have no idea what you're gonna get. Maybe it's that aspect of it I like, it's kinda like a grab bag, you can reach your hand in and pull out a really cool toy, or you're unlucky and get some stupid plastic jewelry. All in all, I think it comes down to the money and 100+ pages for 5 dollars sounds a lot better than a 26 page doujin that cost 14. I guess this is one of those times where quality should win over quantity, huh?

Speaking of jpqueen, I wish more people wrote actual reviews instead of stupid fangirlish drabble like "omg so hot" >_>.

Been awhile, huh?

Okay, don't have a lot to say, but what the heck is up with Survivor deviding teams by race? They said that they're gonna segregate so the show can be more diverse. Here's a thought, why not just add more ethnic groups to the show and put them on desegregated teams!

And I haven't forgotten about those who I owe art to. I actually have one of the pieces completed but I'm just not to crazy about it and have been debating about whether or not I should just draw a completely different picture.

Meh.

3333...

Is the magic number. If you're my 3333 visitor get a screencap of the page and I'll do a pic request for you *crosses her fingers and hopes either a beyblade fan or a kotor fan gets the kiriban*.

Projects I'm currently working on:
:pointr:Yuki Eiri pic request for
:pointr:An original color pencil work (it feels so good to be using color pencils again after having not used them for 3 years).
:pointr: FMA fanart of Alphonse (gah, I can't believe it ends next week on CN)
:pointr: A super secret doujinshi project. This is actually what I'm spending most of my time on. I'm hoping to have it done by the beginning of April. But that's looking really impossible because I'm still working on the thumbnails of the pages and it looks as if it's going to end up being around 45-50 pages long.
So, yeah, that gives me about 3 weeks to draw, ink, scan, screentone, and text a doujinshi >_<.
